Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms provided a good view of Birmingham but were quite hot, although they were a decent size with clean and comfortable beds. The service was satisfactory, with available dry cleaning services and attentive housekeeping, but no welcome drink was offered. The location, while being perfect for the Alexandra theatre and convenient for the o2, Bullring, and German market, was a little challenging to access and far from some main attractions. The dining experience left much to be desired as the breakfast lacked variety and organization. Overall, the hotel had its ups and downs.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms, although not ready upon check-in, were a good size, a bit too warm at times, but nicely appointed with everything I needed. The service was friendly and efficient, offering dry cleaning and housekeeping services, along with a welcome drink. The location was excellent, being very convenient for the Arena and within walking distance of New Street Station and shopping areas. The dining experience was satisfactory, with a good variety of options available. However, the hotel’s distance from certain attractions could be a drawback, making it hard to find, especially if attending events. Despite this, the inclusive breakfast was a nice touch. The hotel's facilities were decent, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The hotel had fabulous views from the 17th floor across the city. The rooms were a bit small and lacked basic amenities like water bottles and a fridge, especially considering the price. It was still suitable for our needs, although we didn't require the extra sofa bed that was set up.
The hotel had everything I'd need, with two double beds making the room a bit more spacious. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable, equipped with all necessary amenities like tea and coffee, flat screen TV, iron, and ironing board. The location was fine, providing lift access to the rooms and being good for accessing mailbox and Broad Street. The dining experience had some issues, with long queues and incorrect food orders, but the staff and desserts were good. The facilities were satisfactory, but more dining options would have been appreciated.
I had a mix of experiences at the hotel. The view of the city from our 16th-floor room was amazing, but we had to change to the 3rd floor due to vertigo despite promises to rectify this. The location was superb, within walking distance to Mailbox, Grand Central, and other key places, though the room change upon my arrival was not what I requested. The dining had everything we needed for a short stay, but some elements like the meats were a little stale and the breakfast items not well heated. Overall, the hotel had its highs and lows.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room on the 16th floor offered a fantastic view of the city, but there was an issue with room availability upon arrival. Although facing the road, the room was surprisingly quiet at night with minimal traffic noise, ensuring a peaceful sleep.
The hotel had both positive and negative aspects. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet, but there were issues with dirty towels, beds not made, and a persistent high-pitched noise. The service was satisfactory, and the location was convenient for accessing the station and nightlife, despite ongoing development in the area. The dining experience was good overall, with a well-laid out setup and a good selection, even though staff seemed busy at times. The facilities offered were decent, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
My stay at the hotel was better than expected. The rooms were a little bit larger than I thought and in a great central location, making them very clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities like a tea making facility, flat-screen TV, hairdryer, and ironing board. The service, including dry cleaning and housekeeping, was excellent, and they even offered a welcome drink. The location was perfect for a city center stay, close to all shops, restaurants, gas street restaurants, and cool bars. However, it was a little hard to get to and quite far from the main attractions. The dining experience, despite some variety in breakfast items, wasn't the best, but the golden malted waffles were a decent option.
The hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were not ready upon our arrival, but they had useful amenities like an iron, hairdryer, and large TV. The service was decent, offering dry cleaning and housekeeping, but lacked a warm welcome drink. The location was ideal for our needs, being close to the train station and the club Nakira we wanted to visit. The dining experience, although with a decent selection, fell short in quality. The hotel's facilities were satisfactory, providing basic services at an acceptable value for money.
The hotel was ideally located next to the cube, perfect for our activities. The rooms were surprisingly spacious and comfortable, but the inability to change from twin to double beds was a downside. The dining experience left much to be desired due to a lack of available items during breakfast, but the overall value for the price paid was decent.
